ASCLS-IL is pleased to announce that Governor JB Pritzker of Illinois, and Mayor Brandon Johnson of The City of Chicago, have proclaimed April 14th to 20th, 2024, as Medical Laboratory Professionals Week. This proclamation acknowledges 'the vital contributions medical laboratory professionals, including medical laboratory scientists, make to the health and well-being of our residents.' Additionally, it highlights the critical roles medical laboratory professionals play in healthcare and emphasizes our responsibility in conducting complex testing and analysis essential to patient care.
